Scrappy interpretation of a jelly roll race quilt. I didn’t have a jelly roll, but I had a good amount of large scraps and yardage. Cut into 2.5″ strips and away we go.

I finished this quilt top (64″x84″) in a day. It’s made from 2.5″ strips sewn together into one long strip, which you then fold in half and sew. You continue this process four or five times until you get a size and configuration you like.

This quilt is destined to be a gift.

I love the fabrics you pulled for this one! So much more fun than a jelly roll.
