One of the reasons I started this blog was to be a more active participant in the quilting communities I’ve read about on other blogs. I love the culture of fabric and mini swaps, and have been lucky enough to participate in two swaps so far.

The first is the Low Volume Charm Swap 2 hosted by Lori H. Designs. The swap is full, and the mailing deadline is approaching – I’m getting anxious to see all the lovely fabrics that have been picked out in person!

The second is the Text Me – A Text Fat Quarter Swap hosted by Plum Patchwork. This swap is still open for signups! The idea is however many FQ’s you send in, that’s how many you’ll get back. There are some interesting fabrics chosen so far. I have 28 FQ’s to send in – 7 FQ’s of four different fabrics. (I ordered 2 yards each and kept 1 FQ for myself.) The mailing deadline is February 15, so there’s still time if you’re interested!

Here are the fabrics I chose:

You Had Me at Merlot Words Allover Grey

You Had me at Merlot

Sweetwater Reunion, Dates on Cream Fabric

Reunion Dates

Studio E, Christy Tomlinson, Belle's Dream, Tiny Words Fabric

Tiny handwriting

Sweetwater Hometown, Town Square Mist Fabric

Have you participated in any neat swaps lately? Know of any with spots still open?
