I’m thrilled to show off my latest finished quilt top – a pixel quilt. It has actually been done for nearly a week, but I had been holding off with the hope the weather would hold out this weekend so I could get an outside photo. Unfortunately it looks like we’re in for a washout so these will have to do.
I worked on this while I was at my Aunt’s for Thanksgiving – she has a lovely design wall which made it fun to see my progress. Usually I don’t see the finished product until it is all stitched together because I don’t have the space for a design wall in my tiny apartment.
To keep myself organized I focused on one column at a time. Even so, keeping all those rows in the right order was a bit of a challenge. But I prevailed and I think I have an awesome top to show for it.
I’m hoping to get the back made today and get it basted and the quilting started this weekend.
